What’s coming in version 6.04

With ProspectSoft 6.04 expected in second quarter of 2012, what changes can you look forward to? There will be many minor enhancements as well as big changes to help you complete tasks easier and perform more within ProspectSoft CRM itself.

The big changes:

• Credit card processing
  You can now take orders from directly within ProspectSoft CRM and no longer have to use a PDQ machine. This is the same tried and tested integration that ProspectSoft eCommerce users have enjoyed for some time.
  
  
• Receipt processing
  IRIS Exchequer users will now find receipts automatically posted into the relevant sales ledger, no matter whether they’re taking payment through their eCommerce website or the CRM system itself.

• Available stock calculation
  The introduction of new stock calculation that calculates single figures combining the stock in a selection of warehouses and tracks the available stock as different orders arrive from different locations.

• Product search improvements
  You no longer have to select the stock tab to see one stock level at a time, you can now see the calculated available stock figure in the product list.

• Multi-line order entry
  Users can quickly add multiple products to a quote/order without having to process each line individually.

• Web catalogue tab
  CRM users can now browse the additional information that was previously only available. This allows them to have a better knowledge of the products you offer.

• Profiling plugin
  This allows contacts (and other record types) to be grouped by hierarchical categories. You can define profiles of customers based on these selections and then easily use those profiles for reporting, mail merges and so on.

• Place orders on behalf of customers
  Your team can place orders via your eCommerce website on behalf of customers. This could be used if a customer decides to phone their order in to you rather than place the order themselves.

Other changes:

• Enhanced multi-currency support
• Faster importing from IRIS Exchequer
• Support for effective-date pricing from IRIS Exchequer
• Revamped Easy CRM.
