Networking event at the Pink Pig for local businesses

Local IT solutions provider HBP Systems Ltd will be hosting a networking event in celebration of Deal Local’s first birthday at the Pink Pig in Scunthorpe on Thursday 21^st October.

The event, which is opening to all local businesses, will begin with a short introduction to Deal local and afterwards attendees are free to network with each other and register for upcoming workshops whilst enjoying bucks fizz and canapés. Due to the success of the previous networking event in October 2009, which officially launched Deal Local, HBP Systems Ltd will also be hiring the restaurant area of the Pink Pig so more room is available for those attending.

Deal Local was created by HBP Systems Ltd with the sole purpose of encouraging local businesses to deal with each other wherever possible. This is because North Lincolnshire holds a vast amount of knowledge and expertise but local companies may not have a marketing budget to match companies from outside the region.

After the networking event, Deal Local members will be presenting a series of free workshops starting in November following a run of similar workshops earlier in the year, which proved to be extremely popular. The goal of these workshops is to increase the knowledge and connections of local businesses and will be held at HBP Systems office on Woodhouse Road, Scunthorpe.
