Capital Gold Payroll 3.86 Payroll Now Released

The new enhanced version of Pegasus Capital Gold Payroll has been released with a number of new features and enhancements including the new Payroll Calendar for statutory payments.
The major changes in the new releases include:
- A new Payroll Calendar has been added to retain the number of weeks available to pay SMP, SPP and SAP. For further details regarding the Payroll Calendar, please refer to the release guide (payinfo.pdf) or the F1 help.
- HMRC has removed the “Tick here if you want these details to be shown on tax code notifications†box from the P45 Part 3 Return. As a result, the “Show Details on Tax Notification†box has been removed from the Online Services form and has been replaced with Works number/Payroll number and Department or branch.
- A new box called Placement Date has been added to the SAP tab on the Statutory Payments form. This box is to capture the date that a child was placed with an adopting parent.
- Users are now prevented from entering a full stop in the Surname field. To comply with the HMRC Quality Standard, a surname must be entered.
- Automatic Actions have changed for employees who have left. Users are now prevented from updating the Absence Diary with an automatic action if the employee has left. Also, an automatic action that was set up for the employee before they left will now no longer be processed after they leave.
- A new company can now be created without the need to enter a Tax Reference and Tax District in the Tax tab on the Company Details form. Please note that when filing online, validation will require the tax reference field to be populated prior to submission.
- Print margins can now be set individually for P14, P60, P45 and payslip reports. This means that the margin for the reports can be adjusted independently.
- Although F20, F40 and F60 are not valid HMRC tax codes, historically they have been available to assist in calculating tax in certain circumstances for subcontractors. Whilst these codes ceased to calculate following the April 2010 Payroll Upgrade, it has been decided to reinstate them and they will calculate as follows: F20: 10% F40: 20% F60: 30%
